I just wanted to drop a quick note, I love your blog! I live in Chicago, Illinois, originally from Nebraska and my grandmother used to prepare a bunch of bohemien/czech/german/eastern European influenced food that I loved and still love to this day.

Keep it up! I look forward to your posts.

Ohhh. Love the idea of putting a bit of cream in the lentil soup.

This looks so delicious! I can't wait to try your rindsuppe mit grießnockerl as well--a favorite of mine (though I've never made it at home).

Thanks for your comments on Tea and Cookies. I was delighted to discover your blog. I lived in Austria for a year when I was a student and am always trying to recreate the dishes I ate there. If you don't mind, I may be sending my Austrian cooking questions your way!
